Obama Volunteer Corps at Habitat for Humanity

The Obama Volunteer Corps is a grassroots organization centered in Houston, Texas.

We are a group of volunteers inspired by the historical Presidental campaign of Senator Barack Obama, devoted to making the Senator's message of change a reality by serving our communities through public service and activism.

Our organization is committed to showing that words do have meaning, words inspire people to take action. Our group is ready to work to improve the communities we live in and spread the message of hope and change.

Both Senator Obama and his wife Michelle grew up understanding what it meant to cherish every meal and many of us have shared in that experience growing up in poor homes across Texas and the country.  This is our chance to help make a real difference in the lives of America's future.
